I was at Uncle Ernies the same day and this was not what happened at all. Frist off the waitress was the one who chased the man out the door. The man you call Ernie only went out to see what was happening and to talk to the police. He did not attack the bus boy or knock over a table or spit on food . He has more class than that.It was never figured out what happened to the money but I assure you it was not left on the table.

Uncle Ernie's Pancake House is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live near it...Some weird things go on out in the parkin' lot...

I was headed in for some bacon and eggs on a Saturday mornin' last spring and Uncle Ernie came running out with a spatula in his hand...Almost knocked me over chasin' some dudes...I guess Ernie thought these dudes had tried to skip out on their bill---Turns out their $7 had been stolen off the table...One a them dudes thought it was the busboy that took the $$ & gently tried to strangle the truth out of the poor kid after storming into the kitchen and knocking over tables and chairs...He looked like the Ultimate Warrior...Ernie's eyeballs almost popped outta their sockets when HE found out what was goin' on...He started shoutin and cussin and spit was flyin straight outta his mouth and onto the plates of food...After chasin' the dudes outta his hole in the wall, he stood in the parkin' lot there waving his spatula around like it was a sword & he was fennin' off evil spirits---He was threatening to destroy any man, woman, or child that taketh away from his almight pancake palace...The cops showed up & they thought Ernie might just be nuts...But Ernie makes a helluva pancake and they have a clean facility, so it didn't paticalarly bother me atall...I did, however, notice it bothered a couple of other people...Overall, I think I'd return
