  This was my first time at this restaurant and I'll admit that I didn't believe what all of my friends had been telling me about. How can any restaurant in Bakersfield possibly be that good? Well it wasn't just good, in fact it was fantastic. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was absolutley fantastic. My waiter was so good at explaining everything you would think that he worked in the kitchen as well. I mean he even knew the dessert recipe by heart. Defintely a place I would visit again and again.

  I have eaten at Valentines several times and each time have been very pleased. The presentation, selection, and quality have always been above average, especially for Bakersfield. Valentines is about the only restaurant in Bakersfield I would consider innovative...too many serve good steaks, but nothing particularly memorable.
  
  Keep up the good work, Valentines and continue to search out interesting ways to prepare your entrees.
