Excellent food
Food was excellent in taste. Restaurant is very neat and clean. Staff is also very nice. Being vegetarian we were satisfied with the available choices.I would highly recommend this restaurant.We live in fremont, bay area and we stopped by while coming back from vegas. For our future trip to Vegas/Yesomittie this would be our first choice for food for our dinner break.

Fabulous Indian Food!!!
My friends and I frequent Taj as often as we can. We crave the Taj!!!! I have eaten Indian food in berkeley and other cities where you might expect it to be better....nope I think the Taj is the best I've ever had. Worth every penny we have dropped there. They have great customer service and the place is clean and relaxed.

Great food
We stopped by while coming back from Las Vegas. We saw only one couple eating in so as usual we were little concern about food taste/quality. But then decided to give a try anyway. Food was GREAT; very Indian, fresh, tasty. Very friendly staff. I would hightly recommend this place.

Consistently great Indian Food
The Taj Mahal has weathered many years in the picky "meat and potatoes" Bakersfield market. They have seen several Indian restaurants come and go over the years. Their secret? Consistently good food!
Their food is spiced just right and is not too hot. They have a great lunch buffet which is when we most frequent their establishment. We have been there on several occasions for dinner, but find it to be much more expensive than at lunch, and we prefer the variety at the buffet.
I have eaten at several other Indian restaurants, and prefer the taste of our local Taj Majal.
