BEWARE: good service - bad area - worse food!!!!

the food is worse than the area in which this restaurant is located. as sushi lovers and visitors to the area, we read the local reviews and decided that we would give this place a try. we went for the all-you-can-eat lunch special for $19.99. the fish was served at room temperature and did not smell extremely fresh (as if they had just grabbed it out of a stagnant fish tank) and the rice was over-cooked over-seasoned. we ordered rolls, and even though it was not in the description, we were surprised when they arrived at our table stuffed with fake crab and mayo.
terrible. just terrible. to top it off, i got diarrhea afterward (it was the only thing i ate, so this is also suspect).

The food is excellent, you will definitley come back!! Everyone is so friendly and the owner's are very humble and enjoy really getting to know you!!! We visit as often as possible and it is very affordable, especially since the food is sooooo good. If you wait until dinner time expect to stand at the door, as this little spot is booming with appreciative customer's.

The other reviews say it all very well, I merely wanted to add to the growing list. James has made a WONDERFUL restaurant, not to be passed over.

Important along with all else: you feel at home there.

Just go; you'll return!!! It's a ritual with us, always anticipated with joy.

    My Favorite Place

I go here about once a week for all you can eat sushi and have taken many friends here for the first time. All of which plan on or have been back since.

My favs are the seared ono (white tuna, tiger hand rolls, and the Las Vegas Roll. Amazing value at this place as what I would order anywhere else would cost me $20 more. The service is also fantastic. Don't be afraid of the location, the food is Amazing.

    Outstanding!

The food here really is the best sushi in the Inland Empire and the price makes it the best value as well. If you can get over the high crime neighborhood it is in and the lack of ambiance, you will love the food. Due to the location it is hard to get our friends to go there but once they do they love it.

Best Sushi All You Can Eat Restaurant!

I don't use the word "amazing" very often, but I can say without hesitation that Miyagi Sushi is one of the most amazing sushi restaurants I have ever been to! Before I would spend at least $100 for two when eating sushi, but now I spend half that while getting higher quality sushi than I would buying it a la carte. This is not to mention the awesome sushi chefs and the way the owner comes around and greets everybody with a smile and a handshake. I go there at least once a week for lunch with my coworkers and once with the wife and kids for dinner.

Unlike most sushi all-you-can-eat restaurants, they don't load up on the rice, but actually give you very reasonable sized rolls and sushi. Also, they offer a lot of fish I usually don't see at other all-you-can-eat joints (spider roll, green mussels, and ono white tuna to name a few) and the sushi chefs have always accomodated my kids when they wanted half rolls or some special creation.

The only complaint that I have about this restaurant is that it's no longer a hidden gem, but with fantastic value, excellent food and impeccable service, the secret was bound to get out sooner than later. Check this place out, it's definitely the best sushi restaurant in the Inland Empire!

Best sushi in the Inland Empire.
    The surrounding area is crummy.
    The ambiance is ... utilitarian.

    The FOOD is awsome!
