o.k. food, not the best waitress written by nab

The food is ok. Its not the best Middle Eastern food you can get, nor is it the worst. The waitress serving me at the time was slow, hardly checked on us during lunch and didn't seem friendly....more like a forced "hello", "have a nice day" type of person. If the waitress was a bit friendly or had a personality it would have been a better experience.

I can not say I would recommend this restaurant since I may not go to it again myself.

Fans of Mid-Eastern cuisine should be OUTRAGED! written by GallopingGourmet

I've passed by this restaurant several times and thought I'd give it a try. HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered a Middle-Eastern mainstay, Vegetable Gallaba that came with soup or salad; I chose salad which was NASTY. It was practically all white Iceberg Lettuce with just some slivers of carrots and NO ONIONS!

I admit, I'm spoiled being used to the always excellent salads and anything else at the now closed, LA SHISH Restaurant at Michigan Avenue/Wyoming (this location being the first and BEST).

I ordered coffee too; it tasted like instant and had "floaters" in it...ARGH! I wasn't offered any PITA BREAD..again, something all Mid-Eastern restaurant do. Then,
came the Vegetable Gallaba, which was only slightly better than the salad with much of the items BURNED in it, nice. Needless to say, I won't return to this insult to all decent Middle-Eastern restarants.

Best food ever written by Memobaby

I do respect the other two people's comments but I do not think you know what true Middle Eastern food is suppose to taste like! I am a regular at Beirut By Night and I love there food. I recommend Beirut By Night to all my family and friends. I recently had a party there and everybody enjoyed the food and the service. By far I think they are the best. They are currently remodeling the place. I can not wait to see what it will look like!

The food was very good. We ordered a platter that was meant for 10 people(there was 8 of us) at a great price and was very delicious. The waitress was really nice and very attentive. Beirut By Night has a great environment and atmosphere, great food, and awesome service. I would highly recommended this restaurant to anyone. I plan on returning when I'm in the area(I am from out of state).
