    Restaurant run-in

    Let me start by saying the food was o.k. The downfall to the meal came when I went into the bathroom to was my hands befor I started to eat. The bathroom smelled like it had not been cleaned in a long time! The toilets looked dirty but I was not going near them. I washed my hands and felt water splashing on my feet (I was wearing sandals). GROSS!! The sink pipes were leaking on the floor, so all the germs from the floor were splashing up on my feet! I felt more dirty when I left the bathroom than when I went in! After complaining to the manager (who did not understand cleanliness or English) I was now frustrated. Then the bill was not added properly and THEY insisted it was. After much discussion back and forth, the manager added the amounts and came up with the incorrect sum also. Now, I was frustrated as well as mad and they brought me a calculator. FOUR of them watched ME add the total and come up with the CORRECT amount and then they all agreed I WAS right!!! Since the manager had already run my Debit card through, he refunded the difference in cash. I have no idea what the kitchen looks like, but if they clean and maintain the kitchen the way they clean and maintain the bathroom, everyone who eats there is doomed. After washing my hands and having water splash on my feet, my food no longer looked appetizing. I wanted to walk out and eat somewhere else.
    I don't know if there has been a change in ownership, but when we first started to frequent this restaurant, it was clean and we did not have these problems, the servers were friendly and they spoke English. The people last night had no idea or the ACTED like they had no idea what I was talking about when I complained about the smell and leaking pipes and overall unsanitary conditions in the bathroom. They really acted like I was on another planet when I told them the total on the check was wrong. They also did nothing to rectify or apologize for ANY of the complaints. Their attitude was basically "I don't care". They did not apologize or rectify any or the errors to make me feel like returning. They don't have to worry. I won't return!!
