My daughters and their friends Love Opa and suggested that we meet there for my birthday this past Friday night. I had been there for lunch with one of my girls a couple of years ago and I liked it very much. On Friday night we met there. We were a party of 8 for dinner and drinks. I had the Best time. We ordered a variety of entrees that all of us could share. It was nice to try all of this excellent food. The owners are very sociable and attentive. Joe, the owner and chef came out a few times to talk to us and asked if we were enjoying ourselves and enjoying the food. Eileen, his wife, was the perfect hostess and server. She couldn't have been any nicer or have done anything more to make this a better evening. I think OPA is going to be my new favorite summertime place to go. Excellent Ambience and Food Presentation. The desserts are out of this world also.
The owner handed me a very large bright orange exotic flower when I was leaving. It was a very nice birthday, family get together. I Love Opa! Try it...You'll Love It too. I'm sure!

While I was cheking out all these restaurant on Federal Hill in Providence RI, I noticed this completely cute Mediteranean Restaurant with the name of Opa meaning cheers (in greek). When i went in, a loving and caring waitress(Aline Karam) seats me in the perfect spot to have dinner in, right infront of the crowded street. While my friend and I were having our Salmon au Saffron and Filet au poivre, Chef Joe Karam who is also the owner, comes out very nicely and kind wondering if the food was perfect for us, which was absolutly IMAZING. From then, I recomand Opa restaurant to anyone who comes up on Federal Hill.
