Have been going--off and on--to Peabody's for the last 25+ years---some time back it wasn't quite up to fomer standards...but went there with a business colleague last Friday for lunch. Both of us ordered the soup (Manhattan Clam Chowder)and half sandwich--- roasted turkey. I can't remember when I've ordered a turkey sandwich and it wasn't the typical deli style type...this sandwich was the "real" thing--fresh, moist, roasted ()delicious) and the soup was awesome too....one of the best lunches I have had in a long time.

why i like peabodys written by vannieannies

i like peabodys because everytime i go i have a time. the servers are always very friendly. it seems i always get the same couple of servers. Jackie a beautiful red head with a great smile Kim a very smart young lady and Dana who is always upbeat very knowledgable of menu and history and who always makes the best suggestions. peabodys are like family.
