The Worst I have ever had written by

The restaurant was so empty we thought they were closed. I tried the door and much to our surprise they were open. We were seated by what appeared to be the manager,hostess, waitress for the day. We selected our entrees and when we weren't asked for salad or soup I was surprised. I have never been to an Italian establishment without the option of salad with my meal well over the $10 dollar range. I let it slide, then our meals arrived. I had the country pasta with the spicy sausage. The sauce must have consisted of entirely butter because that's all I tasted, not to mention none of it stuck to the pasta and all sank to the bottom of the bowl. We decided to order dessert. My cannoli shell was like limp cardboard, no crunch to it at all. My husbands cooked apples were cold, like they hadn't been warmed up at all.
All and all the worst Italian experience I have ever had and I will never return. Not to mention later that night I was horribly sick to my stomach.

Eating Out Close to Home. written by

Nice service, presentation, quality, tasty meal. Good wine list and moderate pricing! We've been there before and will return! It's nice to have a quality restaurant near by that you know the food and service will be enjoyable at prices you can afford. The half off on wine on Wednesdays makes going out during the week that more pleasant.

Papa Vinos radio advertising written by

Sometimes advertising grabs a person making them want to try the establishment. Not so for the Papa Vinos "Frankie" radio advertising for the Seafood Celebration (and any other ads I hear him in). The more I hear this guy sing the less I want to eat at Papa Vinos. Which is too bad - the restaurant is probably great but I cannot stand the advertising so much that I will never eat there.
