I first met the owner of La Gondola Pizzeria on September 27th, 2007. I know this date to be exact because I filled out an application for a job in Carnegie. My great-grandparents are from the old country so I talked to him the whole time I was there. We talked about Italy and visiting there. I showed him on the map where my family was from and he showed me where he was from. Whenever I'm in Pittsburgh alone I always try to stop in to have some pizza and a cool cup of Pepsi. Sergio's a great cook and a great guy. I hope to visit soon.

I took my fiancee to La Gondola today as we were in town to apply for our marriage license. The pizza was as good as it was 15 years ago when I had it.
Such good sauce and cheese. Tasty pepperoni, and the staff was as nice as ever.
You HAVE to eat here...you won't be disappointed.
The staff makes you feel like part of the family.
The food is so good you'd think grandma is in the back making it. However, the 2 guys making all the great food are real Italians and the food lets you know it.
I get there everytime I am in the Burgh!!
I reccomend you get there and try it out!!!
You'll thank me later..
