My husband took me to Casa Bonita last weekend. He had gone there years before. We had heard it was closed, but found it had reopened! We went through the line which moved pretty quickly and ordered our food. It was delivered cafeteria style - no problem. A very nice young man carried my tray to our table in "the cave."
Our only problem was our waitress. She was young, and very rude to this young man and all the customers in our area. It was like it was an inconvenience for her to bring us more tea or extra tacos, or to help anyone. Needless to say, we all contacted the manager, who had a little talk with her.
We will go back to Casa Bonita, and recommend it to couples and families alike. The food is good, and if there are any problems at all, go find a manager and they will take care of it!
In 48 years, I have never eaten at a restaurant quite like it! From the atmosphere, to the food, to the service. It was all great!! I recall the chips and sauces, as with the wide variety of foods. I moved away from the Tulsa area and am disappointed it was closed when I was back in the area. I would love to recreate the same place in Brookings, SD. C.Isham
