  Don got a bad rap

  I was afraid to go after I read a review here but took a chance. The service was excellent the food was even better. The wait staff was friendly fast and polite. They were great with the kids. Our food was fresh, hot and delicious. We were told they were bought last May and are under new mangement. I will be going there again. Hopefully very soon.

  Horrible Service

  A little after lunch time this past Saturday, I visited this restaurant with friend of mine. We were the only people in the restaurant and were only ordering one meal, a salmon caesar salad. It took almost 30 minutes to get the salad and our waiter was no where to be found during the entire meal. As we were eating a table of 6 entered the restaurant so it wasn't like they were busy. My friend went to the restroom and our waiter finally decided to check on us. I asked for the bill and, as my friend came out of the restaurant, she was rudely addressed by the waiter that if there were any problems we needed to talk to him. Apparently my friend mentioned the horrible service to another waitress who was in the restroom. We asked to see a manager and, after being laughed at in our faces, we were told our waiter was the manager and owner (which I find hard to believe because of his rudeness)He rudely dismissed us and seated a couple that walked in. It is very sad because I had actually raved to my friend about the restaurant earlier that afternoon and told her how great their food was. We will never return and will tell everyone about the horendous service we received! My friend had been in the restaurant business for 23 years and I currently work part time in the business. We know what it is like to deal with complaints and believe this type of 'customer service' violates every rule!
