Ate here a few nights ago, and seeing as how I am not from Michigan at all, I'm from Louisiana, it was nice to eat somewhere that was comparable to home. I would definately change my usual at home if they were there. Everything was fresh and always there. There isn't anything bad I can say about it.

My friends and I eat at Hong Kong about every Thursday right after school, but I must say it's not a busy time and the food is usually cold... Rice Balls (My favorite) are sometimes stale, but I must say overall, G-R-E-A-T. I honestly heart this place and the people in it. Also if you've never been there before, double check your tab, not everytime do they do it right and if you're cheap, even if it's right on, you can get a 5%+ discount cause they mess up and just want you to pay ;) I give it an overall 7 becuase they do not just a good job but a great job, for instance; I went there once ordering my usual of a milk to drink, but they had been out of milk the last few times, the owner actually left the building and went to a grocery store just so I could have milk... That guy is like my hero, I just wish that sometimes the riceballs weren't stale every other thursday. But I must say it's my favorite place to dine for about $6.50 a meal.

This is the one stop we plan to make on vacation again this year. The food was great, the service was wonderful. Food was continuously re-filled in the warmers so it was always freshly made. We will definitely be stopping there again this coming July!!! A great place to take the family.

I HAVE ATE AT ALOT OF CHINESE RESTURANTS IN LOWER MICHIGAN, UPPER MICHIGAN, AND ALSO IN OTHER STATES, AND BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO EAT CHINESE. I AM FROM THE LOWER PART OF MICHIGAN AND WHENEVER I GO UP TO THE U.P I ALWAYS MAKE SURE I GO TO ESCANABA TO THE HONG KONG. IF YOU WANT A CLEAN AND FRIENDLY PLACE TO TAKE FAMILY AND FRIENDS THEN YOU NEED TO STOP BY AND CHECK IT OUT.
