Let's just say I've enjoyed alot of Sushi in my life. I've been to Osaka,Japan and probably a dozen or so Sushi restaurants in the US. I also make sushi at home, quite well I might add. Anyway, I ordered a tuna roll, a spicy tuna roll, a spider roll, a flying fish egg piece and a spider appetizer. The reason for all the spider is I don't have access to the soft shell crab where I now live. Anyway, it was all very good!!!!!! I would definitely dine there again when in town. My bill without tip was $28.63, don't let that stop you, what I ordered was more than plenty for most people. I love good sushi and this place I rate a very good. The only reason I didn't rate it a 10, was because that rating belongs to my all time favorite Sushi restaurant in Mount Prospect, IL (Sakura. I've been known to spend over $150 on a night at a Sushi bar, of course I didn't have any premium cold saki this time.
I have been here a couple of times. I was nervous the first time since I though I did not like sushi, but I LOVED it! The staff is very helpful, and the food is amazing. Theie is al cart so you can try different things, and cooked food as well. I had the Bento box the first time. It had chiken terriyaki, california rolls, shrimp tempora, and another roll thing..unsure of what it was. Sorry about the spelling. It was $15.95. It was excellent. The second time I ordered only cooked sushi, and it was amazing. This is a great place to go with friends, and to relax and enjoy something new. The staff is great, but it can get busy at dinner time so plan ahead for drinks when the waitstaff stops at you table. Would recoomend to anyone, and everyone!!
