This charmingly authentic bistro attracts an influential clientelle and has for years. They know where to find good food for a good price, apparently. There are certain nights where most diners know everyone in the dining room. It's like a little club. Alex's has a varied clientelle which makes it an interesting mix of seeing and being seen. Very beautiful dining room with mahogony walls intersperced with large mirrors, brass and glass accents, flowers and candles on the tables sets the mood. This is a classic French bistro. Why fly to Paris when we have Alex's? Food here is divine.....straight forward good food. And, with the staying power of 23 years, I would vote Alex's Bistro a keeper. It outshines all the mediocrity that is found abundantly in C-bus. Let this one shine on. We love the staff, so accomodating and in tune to customer satisfaction. Ali and Katie do a phenomenal job. Mary and Connie keep their bar guests coming back for more. And, chef de cuisine, Kirk, makes each plate special.
Thanks for making this place so enjoyable time after time. We'll be in with friends to dine on the patio while the weather is warm. I am looking forward to your prime rib dinner special every weekend during football season. It sounds delicious....I got the E-news announcing the special events. The big flat screen TV will pack 'em in during football season. Save me a place at the bar.....
