A major improvement over the old Gus's Coney Island which was demolished 7-8 years ago...that place should have been shut down by the health dept for too many reasons to mention. The new Gus's is way better, but they dont bus the tables fast enough...when the car shows are there every week you have to wait too long for a table...menu could be a lot better too....floor needs to be swept more...a lot more traffic there than in the old Gus's....ground beef does not taste fully cooked sometimes....the view of downtown Mt. Clemens is very good though through some large windows that dot Main St.
Rest room need to be cleaned more often.

THEY NEED TO LISTEN TO TO THE COSTEMERS MORE. THEY NEED TO BE MORE FREIENDLY TO THE PEOPLE THAT THEY WAIT ON THE MANAGERS NEED TO BE NOT SO COLD TO THE PEOPLE THAT COME.HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO GET THE TABLES CLEANED OF. MAKE SURE THE CUSTUMERS ARE HAPPY AT ALL TIMES. GIVE FREE REFILLS ON DRINKS IT WILL BRING IN MORE PEOPLE. PUT IN SOME MUSIC IT WILL BRING IN MORE PEOPLE. I HAVE DECORATED RESTAURANTS IN THE PAST AND GOT GOOD REVIEWS. THERE IS ALOT THAT CAN BE DONE WITH THAT PLACE, BUT THAT IS ONLY ONE PERSONS OPION. TAKE THE ADVICE OF SOMEONE THAT KNOWS.

Gus' Coney Island by far has the best chili fries that I have ever had. I go there mostly for lunch and it is great because I have seen Gus there every time. Gus has been in business since 1971 and he is in a way a local celebrity. Breakfast is outstanding too.
