This restaurant has great food however their service could do better. I made an order for take out and got something else and was not very happy about it. I wish they had just verified with me before I took off. When I called, I did not get a better response either.

We had heard that the chef was able to make the usual Chinese favorites become something dynamic and anything but pedestrian. We went and Paul took time to chat with us and helped to select some things that got us out of the ordinary oriental staples, and into to true cuisine of the Chinese continent. We tried several items - there's the side of the menu for the Americanized Chinese foods, and then there's the Chinese side - we ordered from the Chinese side and found not only that the dishes were flavorful, but that the portions were generous and looked as fantastic as they tasted. My favorite thing is a large appetizer selection and the sizzling rice soup is like nothing you can find in Grand Rapids; the platter of appetizers was delicious. They even have unique Chinese desserts. Wow! Who would have thought from the simple setting that you'd be served foods the like of what you'd expect from an Iron Chef?
