Still good as ever.
I lived close to Golden Gate for more than 20 years and always had great food and service. I have move away from the area and seem to only get there once a year now but everything is always great as before.once a week to once a year I think maybe I need to make my way back there a little more than once a year for now on.

Pathetic catering service!
Do not go to this restaurant!!
Food is not that good and the service is pathetic.
I went there to ask about their catering service. Unfortunately i was not of any importance to the owner. I wanted to book my event for a Saturday but was told to do it on a Sunday. She kept telling me that Saturdays are for her bigger events of 200 or more people. She had spoken in a tone where i felt like my event wasn't worthy enough for her restaurant. My event had a number of 50-60 people. I have heard that she had catered to others before so i don't know why i was told that. I was told by her head chef that the date i wanted was available. I guess she wanted to reserve it for her 200 or more people event. Then i put the date issue aside to choose my dishes for the event. When she looked at the ones i picked out she looked at my mother and said these were very expensive dishes. She gave the impression that i couldn't afford the dishes. Then she kept going into the kitchen. I wasn't even able to ask about decorations. She once again told us to pick Sunday and said she was busy. I was very upset at that point so i left. I don't think I'll be booking anything with them in the future.
