A nice addition to Colorado Springs. It is so nice to dine in a locally owned restaurant. I am so bored with corporate american chains. I enjoyed dining where the owner takes pride of ownership. The food was great, so fresh. I had the chicken Floutas it was fresh, tender and great flavor. We will make Cafe El Paso a regular dinning place.
the camarones in salsa verde is awesome! you get 6-8 very large shrimp, on the rim of a parfait glass full of spicy green tomatilla and avacoda based dipping salsa. to die for!
chicken santascoy -- now THAT is comfort food! cheesy and chicken and flavor and mild - spice it up with salsa or pico de galla to suit your mood and taste buds and you're slightly short of heaven.
if you're in the mood for dessert and are a FLAN fan - go for the FLAN. if you aren't a flan person, try it, it might convert you.
otherwise, try the somebrero . . . a cripsy tortilla with a couple of scoops of vanilla icecream drizzled with chocolate syrup and kahulua and covered in strawberries and swirls of whipped cream. what's not to love???
