MM MM boy! Real grown-up food comes to Lowell, and it's pretty darn good.
Now, my mother won't eat there. She says it's too expensive and fancy. And that's a good sign. Women of a certain age have a low 'edge factor'. Feta often makes them nervous....
This is a proffesional, well run and creative eatery where the folks in the kitchen know how food works and appreciate customers who do, too. A plain old burger is tasty and unique, the entrees are varied and well prepared, and the desserts? Don't get me started.
And yes, the fries! Thin and crispy, salt and peppered, an assortment of dipping sauces. The are like the old McDonalds beef fat killer fries that have died and gone to heaven. Add a beer and that's it for the rest of the game.
My only complaint is that the quality of their meat has gone down. Gary's next door (to whom I am not related and barely know personally) has great meat. Why mess with the mass supplier? In this case, you can beat local!

We've eaten here 4 times to date and enjoyed the dishes each time. Especially love the bruschetta. We like to sit at an outdoor table and enjoy the sun, the breeze, and the view of the river. Service is excellent.
