Fine China has closed here and re-opened on Waverly south of Lansing Rd.
My wife and I used to come here a lot. We stopped going with the quality of food went waaaay down hill. The General Tso's chicken and sesame chicken taste like it was made with ketchup rather than a normal tomato base. That was the last two times we went. No more, the restaurant is on our BAN list.
My husband and I were stuck looking for some place to get food from at 9:30 p.m. last night and didn't want fast food.
Unfortunatley, Little Panda (our go-to Chinese place) was already closed for the evening. So, we went to Fine China knowing we'd pay a little more for food that wasn't as good.
The crab rangoons were really good -- but other than that our meals were no where near worthy of what we paid for them. I had the sesame chicken ($10.50) and it was nearly all greasy dark meat. My husband had a dish with scallops ($10 something) and they were so old or overcooked they were rubbery.
It was sooooo not worth it -- don't waste your time.
Fine China is really trully a chinese family owned and operated restaurant.
The ambiance and the service excell and food taste and presentation is consistent and true to the family recipes.
Nothing compares. Good job, Li!!!
