This restaurant is fairly new to this area. We often go to eat there on Sunday's after church. At first I thought the BBQ sauce that they cover the meat with was too spicey to my taste. Then I learned you can order it without sauce and put your own on with as little or as much as you like. The meat itself is pit cooked so has lots of flavor on it's own.

Because we are senior citizens and on a limited budget we usually order one of their lunch platters which are about $7.50 each.

Four or five different flavors of BBQ sauce are placed on every table so you can eat your pleasure.

They make an excellent sweet cornmeal muffin which comes with many meals.

The only reason my family decided to eat at this place was because someone gave my dad a gift card. If you can still identify with our president as a human being, you will probably like Famous Dave's. I can't find another way to describe the atmosphere: it reminds me of George W. The food also reminds me of George. It's just a bunch of meat. I'm a vegetarian and the only thing I could eat there was a baked potato and it was dry. My friend had an equally awful experience with Famous Dave's and she isn't even a vegetarian. Thinking about Famous Dave's makes me want to cry.
