I'd heard such good things about this restaurant that I thought I'd try it with friends despite being told that it is expensive. I doubt that I'll return. My date and I ordered different chicken dishes to stay within a reasonable budget but, although I don't care for excessively large portions, you'd think from our respective servings that Gallus domesticus is a vanishing species. We also were not greatly impressed with our waitperson, I'm sorry to say.

Wonderfully prepared and presented regional American cuisine. Venison, whitefish, pork, lamb, great pastas. Desserts to die for. Soups are incredible (butternut squash, asparagus, ...) This is our special-occasion restaurant (we have to drive 45 minutes). Full bar -- they take pride in their wine and beer selections.
Pricey!! But definitely worth the money.
