My wife and I used to go to Empire Dynasty on a regular basis some times once a week at least once a month. The drive from Madison Heights was worth it. We got to know Kevin and his family over the years since he opened the business. While Kevin and his family we would have rated Empire Dynasty 10's. But...
Some time between late July and early September the Ownership changed. Our last visit was a dramatic difference. All of the things that made this a special place were gone. The staff told us that Kevin had just "Gone home" But, the recipes were drastically different, The staff was totally new and all of the reviews and personal effects had been removed.
Its just a below average Chinese restaurant now :(

I have tried many different dishes at this restaurant and have enjoyed the majority. The staff is most friendly and efficient. The quiet and comfortable booths and tables allow you to relax and unwind after a long day. The owner interacts with all of his customers, making it a very friendly experience. I send all my friends to Empire Dynasty.

Last visited this restaurant on June 24, 2007I have tried many different dishes at this restaurant and have enjoyed the majority. The staff is most friendly and efficient.
