  We last stopped by the Dog Pit on Dec. 3 on our way to see Peter Pan at the Civic Theatre. We have 2 sons who beg mercilessly to go to the dog pit. They have the best hot dogs in town and the soda in glass bottles adds a fun nostalgic touch!

  I had a party that consisted of 10 people, 8 of which, including myself, were competeing for the Hotdog Wll of Fme. We each bought 12 hotdogs ($24) for the compitition. the rules are, you have to eat all 12 in one sitting. the prize is $12 back, your name on the plaque, and a free t-shirt. the dogs were excellent! great service. one the best times i have had in G.R. This all happened on a late Saturday night after the bar.
