simple but tasty Japanese fare; i like the California rolls, teriyaki and unagi, but friends report that the udon is also tasty. at first the place appears a little divey, but soothing classical music and interesting artwork create an unexpectedly pleasant atmosphere in a very tiny space. one industrious lady does all the work; if you're in a hurry, call ahead and pick up. if not, bring a friend (just one) and relax at one of two narrow counters while you wait for your food.
