Every time I've ate here the food and service were excellent! My son loves their nuggets and fries! And if you want a good burger....they have the best olive burgers!! The service has always been good and our food is always hot! The cooks are awesome!! It's got a nice relaxing feel to the place.

Basically: Yuck. Never ever order the pot roast. Thinking it was a home cookin' type of place, I got that, and UGH. I've had better tasting, fresher food at McDonalds. The mashed potatoes were kind of thin/runny and not at all what I would consider to be homemade. I haven't been back since.

Just went to lunch here... 9 of us went and 8 of us got our food. The 9th person had to wait 45 mins. to get their order and after asking very politely, the cook/owner would not grant a discount of any kind. This owner thinks this is how you run a business, get customers to never come back, Williamston is a small town a when you piss off 9 people they tell 9 people not to go to Ellie's and so on and so on...

If you have 1 1/2 for lunch or are 85, then i suggest eating there... if you don't, don't go to Ellie's. We constituted 1/3rd of their lunch rush and we were treated like garbage (much like thier food).

    2 out of 10 stars.

    Tasty breakfast

This place is awesome. They have great breakfast, and great prices. I love meeting the new people, and getting a tasty inexpensive meal. There is NO smoking at ALL, and everyone is very nice especially the staff. I love their pancakes, and as someone who is not a fan of "grease", I have never had any problem eating there. It's a really great family friendly place!!

    "good" ole food

You like eggs and meat for breakfast, you'll LOVE this place -- just be ready for grease!

Decent 'home cookin' fare served in a traditional american diner setting, but if you don't smoke, DON'T go here --- whoah nelly, you'll end up having smoked a pack and a half passively before your meal is done.

Overall, not recommended but only because of the smoke. If that doesn't bother you, enjoy a good artery cloging meal like grandma used to serve!
