  I'm originally from Saginaw and then Mt. Pleasant. In those towns are located Forbidden City and another China Garden respectively. Those restaurants are the meter by which i measure chinese food. They are both 10 of 10. The China Garden in lansing comes in at about a 5. I ordered mongolian beef, an egg role, and fried rice. The beef is decent, but not spectacular. The rice is pretty good. the egg roll is good, but a little salty. This is the kind of place that has the pictures of the food above the counter (you know what I mean). The food tastes just like it does at all the other places like this.
