  my wife and i eat out all the time and at all kinds of places and this was one of the best,our waitress was excelent,nice veiw of the lake .all employes were great thy worked togeather as one unit.....the other guest were taken great careof to,,,we well be comming back

  Weekday early afternoons we always get great service, good food and a great view of the lake. I take my wife for her birthday in May or our anniversary in June, we almost have the place to ourselves. It's a great view when the lake is frozen too. We've been going there since it was Pellican's On The Lake, then Gilligan's On The Lake so we've pulled up to a CLOSED sign before, enjoyed the view and ate somewhere else. I'll be visiting again soon.

  ok, My friends and I went to castaways and we had the best waitress, she was a cute lil blonde,skinny, very pretty,very well dressed, and very polite.she brought us our food and it looked delisious, she came back and made sure everything was great (and it was) we will definitly be back, great job castaways employees, keep up the good work.

  castaways is by far the best restaurant lapeer has to offer! great view of the lake, very clean! formally set tables. thier food is out of this world! try the flat iron! its excellent. they have everything you could ask for in a restaurant. i rate my experience a 10!

  The service was bad, it took us almost an hour to get our food, then we got the wrong order. Then to top it off, when our food did come, it was cold! As we were experiencing our long wait, they never even filled our glasses of pop one time! Which is a major downer over all for me on judging a restaurant.. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But for the price, I expect better service then that.
