Excellent Food, Excellent Service. I reccommend the their tri-tip sandwich (best i've ever had), awesome wings, steak cobb salad, and their monster burger.

Pretty Iffy
Appears you either like DogHouse or you don't. We'ld rather spend our $$$ with a similar tasty menu, great staff/mgr. and no tip jar in view!

Idea
The Dog House Grill is always busy,(for take out too) why dont you have the workers do delivery, I know you would make a huge profit and the delivery people would make tips.it`s a win win business move. Please everyone that agres with this idea let them know! Keep up the awesome food and prices.

LOVE this place
Ok first of all the tri-tip sandwich is to die for. Great bread and BBQ sauce. Their portions are amazing for the price, one order of chicken strips and a basket of fries could feed 2 even 3 people, they give you so many fries! Plus if you're a sports fan they always have games on, just a great place, you can tell by how packed it usually is!

Food Excellent- honesty of employees not so much
We have eaten in and out of dog house grill for several years. It's one of our favoirte places to go in fact, not so much any more. The food was still terrific!! The honesty of the employees- NOT SO MUCH! My husband went to the restaurant and picked up our dinner for take out- while there he lost his Blackberry Curve phone. Now it's nice to know there are honest people in the world some very nice person turned it in to the mgr. Now- the mgr- can't seem to find it. The employees remember turning it in but the mgr doesn't ever remember seeing it. Very SAD!! I certainly hope he can sleep at night knowing he's stealing other people's property while on the job. So go and enjoy the food- just hold on to your property- you might find your sweatshirt- but not your cell phone.

WELL WORTH THE DRIVE FROM ORANGE COUNTY
Im from anaheim Ca.. Orange county and I was in fresno visiting my grandparents when we stoped by Dog House Grill to try there food.. My wife and I have drivin 4 hours to have a beer and bbq sandwich... I flippin love it.. who cares about the price when the quality is GREAT.. My only complaint is that they need to open one down in the OC... THANK DOG HOUSE!!!!! BEST BBQ SANDWICH IN CALI!!!!!!!

Food great Managment Crap
The food is some of the best BBQ you can get in town, However, the Punk kid manager needs a reality check and to learn customer service, He explained that if we did not share a table with people we didn't know we would be asked to leave. When we explained that our guest were in the parking lot walking in, he made rude comments about how its taking them so long, and was really in shock when 3-80 year old women walked in to join us, Probably wont go back again.

I wrote to FOODNETWORK about the AWESOME FOOD!!
The food is EXCELLENT!! I love each and every dishes! Even the steak salad was perfect! And wow!! what a helping it was!!!!! The food itself was awesome! The service itself, awesome!!! My food is always fresh!!! And I love it!!! who cares if the bathroom is dirty for you, because it wasn't, or if the service sucks for you, because it didn't! all that matter is the FOOD!

Good food
I've taken my family there twice for early dinners. The food has been good, but on both occasions, the men's bathroom has had an overflowing handicap toilet. Trying to eat with two kids that need to go kind of runes the fun. It only took a few minutes for both bathrooms to be inspected and cleaned, so it turned out to be an injoyiable evening.

Great food quit complaining about prices!
Great food. But if you cant afford to go out to eat then stay home and cook. Shrimp is expensive you pay more for what you want to eat. If you are on a budget go to costco for $1.50 you can get a soda and a hotdog. I work in hospitality and I send all out of towners to Bulldog Grill! Lovesit!

backing the management and food
The food is always great and that "KID" of a manager is doing a great job. I have never been there and had bad service or bad food it has always been great. So mgambler if youve never had a problem why knock the kid that keeps it smooth great job dog house keep it up.

Great place but needs new managment
Great place but the 'kid' of a manager needs to learn how to communicate with customers and also needs to stop getting drunk at the resturaunt. We saw him drinking and yelling at the bartenders for no apparent reason. He appears to be about 19 yrs old and must have some family connections to stay in that position. Great food and atmosphere when you don't have to deal with the manager.

YUMMY
I loved the food. The chicken sandwich covered in BBQ sauce is amazing!!! Huge portions of fries, three of us girls can share just one basket. And they have PEPSI which is amazing, I hate that most people serve Coke when Pepsi is much better. I recommend that everyone living even remotely close to Fresno tries it out.

Jun 03, 2007Doghouse Bar, great!
Doghouse, ITs really good, and For my first time there, I was really impressed. We went for my husbands birthday, and We only went to the bar,but the drinks and service was great. Try the Hawaiian Punch, its a mixed drink, for those of u who like fruitty drinks. It was good. The waitor was really attentive, and polite, but make sure u tip, cause they might get a little grouchy.

man you wont belive how good the food at DOG HOUSE GRILL is. they have so many choices and different kinds of food, they even have a sports bar, more than 15 T.Vs, and great food. when you walk in it smells so good you can already taste the food. the food is to die for, i mean it is so big for a good price, except the shrimp. the shrimp is good but its expensixe, 8.50 for just 8 pieces. the bartender, waitress, cooks, and every worker there is so nice. they treat to with respect and they are real nice to you. i go there like 4 times a month i will surely keep going.

have you ever been to dog house? if not, ur missing out! My family goes all the time. It is perfect for any occasion. The food is AWESOME!...the pig sandwich, tri-tip, ribs, salad and more..mmm. the service is awesome i dont know how they do it. theres so many ppl in there and you still get your food so fast and it is always made perfectly. and that bbq sauce!mmm...the waiters are all so friendly, especially Matt B. he made us feel right at home and got us whatever we needed.

Great for any occasion.
Im from Selma about 15 miles away from fresno, and i go to Dog House Grill all the time with my girlfriend.....fries, onion rings, burgers, and ribs are the best in the valley 2nd too none. They have over 20 big screen T.V.'s all on sports, full bar. Not alot of parking espeacially on saturday during a Fresno State game.

BBQ SAUCE!!
Dog house grill is excellent, also the one in Cambria is amazing (Main street grill) The bbq sauce is addicting on the tri-tip sandwhich and the seasoning on there fries is great. The TVs in the resturant are also very nice it may be crowded but THATS OK because its worth it. The chicken meal is also a very good deal so much chicken thank you MR B for a great resturant

Night Out
The GROUP of 4 are very regulars at Dog House. We Love there food. We all ways get the RIBS, TRI-TIP, and the SALADS with DRY BLU CHEESE and Vinigrette dressing is to die for. We always sit at the bar, we have all had great service everytime we arrive. Mike does an awesome job keeping the bar organized. You could not ask for a better time to hang out with friends and Meet new FRIENDS while you are dinning!!!

What a sports bar!
A friend and I went to the Doghouse Grill to grab some pub and grub while watching some baseball games. The food was excellent. The pork rib meal and the tri tip sandwich are the best things on the menu, and you have to do a large basket of fries, they are soo addicting. The service was excellent. The bartenders Mike and Ross made the experience more fun. The make excellent drinks and have a fun time doing so.

shrimp
I ordered the shrimp because it came highly recommended to me by my brother. The shrimp was prepared excellently, but all you get with the order is shrimp. Eight to be exact for 8.50. I find that highway robbery! You could have at least included fries with it so your customers don't feel cheated. My husband ordered out so I didnt open the container until he brought it home. I was very disappointed with it on that basis alone. Would I ever order it again, absolutely not!!!!! How can you offer the rib meal which consists of 7 very meaty ribs, beans and half a loaf of garlic bread for the same price as the pithetically small shrimp. If I were you I would rethink the proportions, at least add a few sprinkles of fries with it.

Perfection
Everything was great, the food is great, and they give you lots of it. The people are friendly, Michael B. at the counter was very helpful. Everything was stood up to very high standards. Great atmosphere, it was a blast to watch the game there. We will be back often...

The ribs and tritip sandwith are by far the best things on the menu but no sooner had the "Tony Romas" down the street closed, they raised the price of the rib meal from 8.50$ to 11$, that's nearly a third. I would have been okay with 9.50$ or even 10$. Everything else on the menu recieved slightly more reasonable price increases. It's still good food but I won't be going nearly as often. I used to go about 6 times per month, now I'm down to twice maybe three times.
Now that prices are higher I would suggest you try Sam's Barbeque on Shaw and Marks. It's just as good with a more barbeque focused menu. -

shrimp is scampy
I love the food at this place but recently on a carry out order for my work a co-worker ordered the friend shrimp ($8.50). When she opened it up there were only 8 pieces. A dollar a shrimp? rip off i think but everything else seems what it is worth

WE LOVE DOGHOUSE!
You get LOTS more food than usual for their average prices and its EXCELLENT! Ribs, burgers, piles of fries and onion rings, ranch, PEPSI! Its always crowded because its YUMMY!!! And SOOO worth the wait. A friend introduced us to the Doghouse during the 4th of July and we've been going faithfully ever since! ONly wish they had more parking and yeah, call in orders :)

would be nice if you could call in your orders. Thats the only thing that makes it tough to eat there more often
