Never will go back again!
My friends and I went in there about 30 minutes to close on a Thursday.. and are greeting for one was terrible like we just ruined their days walking in.. i work in a restaurant and there is no reason for people to get mad at 30 minutes before closing! but this place did! i service was terrible rushing and very rude! Then we couldn't have half the things we wanted to order because they already put it away! I used to love this place but after that i wont ever go in again with that kinda of service!

Dissapointed
Very dissapointed ! We went for my birthday - which we have done for mine and my husbands for 3 years now. They used to have the BEST bread and awesome food including crab legs. Our last 2 visits prooved dissapointing. The bread has changed, crab legs have no flavor and they quuit giving a free b-day sunday??
I know times are tough but this is suppose to be a higher end place (20.00 a plate) and it is very dissapointing to see the quality go down so much. Also, I would think it a better business decision to give away a b-day sunday that may cost the restauraunt a dollar rather than loose a customer. -

We used to go here all the time but lately the bread has changed (used ot have the BEST bread) and we happened to go there for my b-day which we have done for both mine and my husbands for 3 years now - we even had our dinner there after we were married. They no longer give a free B-day sunday and our crab legs did not have the flavor they used to. Times are tough but still dissapointed to see quality of food go down so drastically. I would think a better business decision to give away a sunday that may cost the restauraunt a dollar than to loose a customer. It's suppose to be high end (20.00) a plate but lately just not living up to expectations.

Jun 15, 2008Great Food and Service!
The food here is great, the restaurant has a superb design, and layout. The ventilation is great, non-smoking section has no signs of smoke at all. We visit the Blind Fish fairly often, every time exceeds expectations. The menu is full of variety, and nearly all of the food is great. Salads are good, fresh lettuce and superlative dressings. I would definately return to this restaurant, be it any occasion.

Love dining here~
Whenever we're in town visiting family we love to go here! They accomodate our large group, usually anywhere from 8-12 people and are very friendly. Wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, because we would go there all the time. We've never had a bad experience here and the food has always been excellent.

Oct 24, 2007terrible experience
Had the fish & chips... very dried out. Good appitizers. Saw the owner yelling at a waitress right in front of all the customers, she was crying. Felt bad for her, will never go back because of what he did to her. Bad taste in my mouth that people have to work for someone like that.

Great place to eat. By far the best in Lapeer. The steak and lobster combo is great and you can't beat their prices. The wait staff is always very helpful and polite. It's a good place for lunch or for a romantic dinner. We will continue to go there and you should too :)

Great Seafood!
When we want to get a great seafood dinner, we go to Blind Fish. The service is always friendly and prompt. Their other meals are excellent, too. It often is busy, but if you go just before 5:00 p.m., you don't have to wait long. I especially enjoy their salmon.

Feb 03, 2007Worth the wait
The restaurant was very busy, did not think they had expected as many people for a Feb 3rd. It took a while to get service after we were seated, once the server past the drink orders the meal moved at a good pace. The staff was pleasant the food was excellent. Well worth the wait

used to be good, not any more
This restauran used to be excellent. Today the appetizer had been changed and it was bad, the salad was limp and dry, The shrimp alfredo was way way too salty and the fillet mignon was well cooked instead of medium, The soup was good and so was the bread. Sorry owner you are losing customers.

Great food, great price
We always enjoy our meal at Blind Fish. It is almost always our choice to take guests to because we know they will enjoy the food and atsmophere. You can't beat their sandwiches in size and value. The only thing they can improve on is their cole slaw (too much dressing). They have great servers also. Our grandkids love it too.
