  We don't exactly live close to Golden Gate, but because the food and service is always perfect we make the drive often. The portions are large and the food is always fantastic. We have eaten almost everything on the menu at one time or another and it all has been very good. The service always exceeds our expectations with a friendly and prompt wait staff. We have seen the owner every time we have visited and we can't say enough nice things about her. We will be returning to this establishment every chance we get. It is our favorite Chinese restaurant!

  Good food, good neighbors...what more can one ask? --Sue, the owner, is most personable, makes every one feel at home. The wait staff, once they learn your habits, might make suggestions off the menu :-) Whether it is chicken, beef, fish, or a vegetarian dish, one can expect continuity in quality and service at The Golden Gate. If you don't like your order, tell the wait staff, they can fix the dish...but only if you tell them.

  The food is fantastic, wonderful flavors, exciting twists on chinese traditions. Golden Gate Special Shrimp is fantastic. Everything Ive eaten is great, been going there 10 years. Service is Good, prices are reasonable. Best Chinese Ive had since leaving the east coast. The happy platter is good, a unique blend of tastes and textures. Lunch combos are good sized, dinner portions are big.
