I visited Cindy's cafe and I was a little worried at first. It is on the dusty side. We had our lunch on the patio and yes again dusty but our waitress wasa great, food was excellent. I reccomend the french dip[. It is hard to get a great sandwich with au jus that is not water with lumps. On the patio we enjoyed the finches surrounding us like a garden. My experience was good and I will be back. This is the place to go if you like home cooking witha laid back atmosphere!!!
I go to Cindy's all of the time. Mostly breakfast, but quite often lunch. If you are finding fault with Cindy's I don't think it's the fault of the restaurant. Yes, they get busy sometimes. I've found them very accomodating and the food is just fine. Cindy's is a local restaurant, not a world class destination. I have never experienced a problem there. I eat out a lot, and have eaten at most of the restaurants in town at one time or another. If you're hungry and want to have a meal, go to Cindy's. If you are looking for a life changing experience go somewhere else.
cindy's looks nice from the outside but it it obvious not to judge a book by its cover. The meals we ate were horrible food came out not prepared they way we had asked for it and the place was filthy. do not use the restrooms they are falling apart and they smell like they have never been cleaned. Also right when you walk in the rest. it smells like cigarettes. ( I thought it was non smoking now )and what is with the bug spray everywhere isnt that a health violation??? oh yeah dont forget about the big hole in the bathroom!!!! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone
Awful.... This cafe is a mess.Dirty and dusty inside and out.Restrooms smell and look as if they have never been cleaned. The plates of food my plate had the burned homefries with no onions,a broken egg covered up by a greasy not cooked to order egg, toast burned on one side untoasted on the other and cold bacon. The plus a smoking patio if you don't mind a minifrig with mold and bug spray, dirty table that are not wiped off after each use and not having a serve.I will NEVER go back and I did report them to the health dept..
What a joy! The food was excellent as was the atmosphere, the waitress, food and all aspects of our visit. We are now regulars and enjoying every minute of our visits. The place reminds us of family restaurants in Pennsylvania. The personalities of the staff are uplifting and make you feel welcome - it seems they are interested in you and care that you came; almost like being at Grandma's
I met a friend at Cindy's for business breakfast. I was surprise to get this quality of food, the french toast was excellent and the portion plenty but not excesive. Service is very friendly without being disturbing. They have an outdoor patio. I am looking forward to trying their dinner specials.
Cindy's AZ Cafe touts itself as a friendly hometown cafe. It is neither friendly nor hometown. Our server made it very apparent that she was in a hurry. A coffee refill was poured so quickly that it splashed on the table, she refilled the jams and made a comment "this one must need to be all grape, I hate when they do that". The hometown atmosphere was wrecked when I saw the sign to the patio stating "due to the high cost of fuel there will be a $1 surcharge per customer when the heaters are on". A hometown cafe would more likely just close the outdoor patio area if they couldn't afford to run it and apologize to the customers. There is also a 50 cent surcharge to share a plate and no senior menu. We have visisted Cindy's four times over the last few years and this was our last visit.
" There is outdoor seating, but we've always sat indoors... "
