Description: Hidden away at the intersection of US 12 and US 127 is Artesian Wells... a true Michigan Landmark. Throughout the 1800's and early 1900's travelers traveling on the "Old Chicago Trail" stopped to refresh themselves at the natural artesian well. In the 1930's the Herald family converted their existing lunch room into Artesian Wells Grill and Tavern.

Today, Artesian Wells is owned by the Petitto family. While the original structure was torn down and rebuilt Artesian Wells continues to be a meeting place to enjoy your favorite refreshment and American classics that are anything but traditional pub fare including: gourmet pizzas, super sized sandwiches, fresh seafood and smokehouse specialties including All-You-Can-Eat Louisiana Ribs.
