I also went to downtown Lapeer for fun and drinks. I enjoyed the ambiance but my waitress was brutal. She was never happy to help and she was very open about her fears that our large group would not pay our bill. When we began to voice our sense of inhospitality, the owner/manager said he had to agree with his waitress. This place is nice but they need to work on welcoming people they don't know.

Some friends and I wanted to try this restaurant. We stood in line for quite a while before anyone came to greet us (and the restaurant was not crowded) When someone came, she asked, "did you want something?" We said we would like a table for 3. We were told we could sit by the bar. There were several open tables. We were not made welcome--you must have to be a regular to get a table. We left and walked down to the Villa for a great meal.
