This place is a small treasure in the northwest, that definately reminds me of previous trips to Mexico. It has a nice atmosphere inside that is fun and relaxed. The couple of nights I went, there was a live piano player that played an array of enjoyable music. The food is very good and we didn't have to wait long, even on a Friday night. I had the steak fajitas and they were very tender slices of steak with awesome spices. My wife had the chicken quesadillas which were also tasty. Just a great place to unwind and enjoy a good mexican beer, and food.

I've been there twice in the last two weeks and I love El Sombrero. The outside doesn't look very nice, but inside the atmosphere is great. I ordered the Matador and the Tequila Shrimp Burrito on my visits. The Matador was one of the largest burritos I've ever had (and was enough for lunch the next day too). It tasted great.

I was nervous about the Tequila Shrimp Burrito, but it is their signature burrito and tasted awesome. Yes it sounds weird, but it tastes great.

I recomend El Sombrero to all of my friends now.

The service was a little slow, but it is well worth the wait.
