I eat at Taco Bell often, I LIKE Taco Bell food. Unfortunately the Smithfield, VA Taco Bell/KFC (combo store) has the absolute slowest service of any Taco Bell I've ever been to. The place is almost always understaffed and the workers are hard pressed to keep up with the number of diners at key times during the day.
If you want service at the drive up and there's only two cars in front of you, be prepared to wait for about 1/2 hour. For longer lines you can expect comensurately longer waits. Make sure to blow your horn when you get to the drive up speaker, otherwise the order taker will ignore you.
This restaraunt is in desparate need of an actual manager, or at the minimum the owner should drop by and try going through what the customers have to put up with.
