  The view is wonderful and the atmosphere of a small local eating establishment is what you would expect it to be. It is kinda like a "Cheers" on the bay. Patrons are loyal and the food is more than sufficient. Their Softshell Crab sandwiches are to die for if you can catch them while they have them in stock. Dinner for the two of us ran about $70 and that included two martinis and a generous tip. My dinner consisted of two large softshell crabs perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and warm and moist on the inside. The locals are colorful and down-to-Earth people. Like I say...this is a "Cheers" establishment on the water and one stop that I look forward to upon returning from a trip up North.

  Its expensive. $109 for four at lunch (w/o tip)including $5 Skipjack pints (on tap!). But the atmosphere and view are great. Sadie the dog is well behaved (if you don't like dogs in restaurants better forget that Euro vacation). The owner yells at you for leaving the door open too long in mid-summer, oh well. If you like a little "Cayo Hueso" on Willoughby Spit, then you'll feel right at home.

  Not sure what that other person was thinking,.... We go to this place AT LEAST once a month,... getting ready to go now,... prices do seem a bit high,... but the food and presentation are mostly worth it... Best scallops, I've had... Steak was, ok,... but just a steak, ya know? Cold beer,... and the owner is CRAZY funny!!!... we always have a blast...

  I've been back about twenty times now, and still haven't gotten tired of the terrific food and awesome view. The quesadillos are a meal, not an appetizer, as are the barbq scallops. The crabcakes are among the top five I've ever had. My favorite, though, is the burger---if you've ever eaten a Del Monte Express burger in Monterey, CA, this is right on par!!

  The owner lets her dog run around the kitchen and dining area. The establishment is in violation of City Kitchen Hood Codes. They have no sanitizing system for washing dishes, no dishwasher. Possible fire haz-zards. Overall experience pretty awful. Wait-staff seemed temporary not knowing how to take an order, family to the owner, thought she would have know what she was doing? Not a place to stop,unless you want bait!
