I stopped by here because there was a Sal's in Brooklyn when I was growing up, so I wanted to see how this southern virginia "pizza" place compared. The food was awesome, just like I remember. Fresh made dough, sauce, the pizza was made right in front of you, stone oven and wooden paddles. The only thing missing was Vito yelling at the cooks (in Italian) to speed it up. Great place to go for real Italian/New York food. Now I won't have to miss the pizza, just the city.
