Veal Francee- veal dipped in a tempora batter and deep fried.
Canned uncooked sauce. Kraft grated cheese on the table. Eggplant Parm with eggplant very undercooked. Spagetti noodles not even redipped in boiling water. No smell of italian cooking when we walked in. A smell of sewage actually.
Who ever thinks they are cooking, should learn how to cook.
How do they manage to stay open with food like this?
This place had a reputation at one time- that was why my companion took me there- he had moved away eight years ago.

This was at one time one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Decent food at very resonable prices. I was a regular who knew the waiters by name. It has been under new ownership for the last few years. The food has't changed but the prices have skyrocketed to the point that it is no longer the nice resonsible place it once was. I stopped going there after being a regular customer for many years. To bad... I missed the old Pines.

It's better than getting Italian food from delivery-type places...
