This is THE BEST around this area!!!!! I see everyone on here complaining about the wait, well to bad they can take as long as they need to make these wonderful subs... That is the problem with people these days they want what they want and they want it fast you have to wait for quality!!!! These ladies are wonderful great people and they have redone there resturant and it is very nice inside... The prices are great too.. All around 100% wonderful eating experince!!!!!!

A definite go to for any philly native looking for a taste of home, fugitaboutit! The sambos are amazing and as philly as you can get for being in Va Beach. The only probelm is that they are closed on game day, Sunday! But i fully understand that one, philly cold cuts knows how to Bring It! If you're scared of philly cold cuts get a dog!

The food is absolutely great...though you can dine in or out this is a restaurant the food is cook on order...you want fast food go to mc donalds or burger king ...but the food is definetly worth the wait. And the owner and other workers..(jeff, angie) are awesome very curteous.

Good Food but Horrible Service written by CKJOHNSON1992

I went into the place but suddenly had to wait about 30 mins to order and I was looking rate at the person and they didn’t say anything. After I placed the order I had to wait about 55 mins before the food was ready so my grandfather fell asleep in the car for over an hour. I say if you are in a hurry don’t go there place your order a WEEK IN ADVANCE!!!!

Real Philly Hoagie (really) written by hamptonfood

You won't find imported or gourmet deli meats here, but will find quality cold cuts in what are the absolute best, and the only, traditional real philadelphia hoagie in Hampton Roads. Just order the regular hoagie. Don't worry about what toppings to leave off or put in, everything that is in it is what should be in it, just order a regular hoagie and enjoy.

Sweet people work here, all of them, but the service is way too slow. For take out it took me 30 minutes (15 minutes to order, 15 to get my order) and the place was half empty. About 6 people standing around the cashier and no one knew who was waiting for their order vs who still needed to order. I felt bad for the people waiting who were getting impatient, and bad for the owners for all the additional business they could have it they sped things up. Some simple changes like an "order here" line would do wonders. Is it worth the wait, YES, but I would go there three times as often if they could improve the wait time.

I have been a fan and die hard customer of Philadelphia Cold Cuts since 1993 while stationed at NAS Oceana. I love that we can get a taste of Philly in Virginia Beach. Always hospitable, courteous, and friendly, Jeff, the humble host always offers a warm smile with his famous cheesesteaks, chicken phillies, and oh so heavenly Chicken Salad. Philadelphia Cold Cuts offers five star service with an affordable price tag. FABULOUS!!!
