we have eaten at Max and Ermas several times but this was my first time eating lunch there. The service was incredibly slow and the wait staff didn't seem the bit concerned that it took over 45 mins. to get a salad and soup/sandwich combo. We were disappointed since our other visits there (for dinner) have been great!

We were shopping in the McCarthur Center and really enjoyed our experience when we ran upon max and erma's. The dining atmosphere is open and roomy, yet you get a comfortable feeling when you take your seat. The staff is very attentive and knowledgable of the menu. I was pleasantly surprised at the choices available. There were way too many things to choose from, so I'll definitely have to make several trips back. It's nice to know that my family can all agree on a restaurant with a menu suitable for any age and any appetite.
