The buffet is great for the price (about $13). It includes crab, salmon, shrimp, prime rib, sushi (several varieties, not just California rolls), steak (albeit thin), Chinese dishes, some traditional American fare (pizza, spaghetti, etc), soups and several desserts. The service is ok, but it's a buffet and doesn't require a lot of attention. They're pretty good at keeping the drinks filled and plates cleared. The staff is generally courteous and friendly. The dining rooms can get pretty noisy when full, and it can be a bit cramped, but again it is relatively inexpensive and a great selection. I would recommend it if you're hungry and I will be back.

Drawn in by the clearly advertised price ($12.95 for dinner buffet) we stopped here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The outside is nothing special to look at, but the lot filled with cars reassured us. We were there pretty early (5 o'clock-ish), so there was no wait. I don't know if that changes later in the evening. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient, clearing our plates and refilling our beverages promptly. The decor was simple, but bright and inviting. The food choices are really quite amazing for the price and, in general, we found the items to be of good quality. I was a bit disappointed in the crab cakes, which were rather bland (too much filler?), and the fried scallops, which were overcooked and tough. However, the excellent deviled crab, stuffed salmon, mussels, crab legs, and shrimp with asparagus (just to name a few!) more than made up for them. Another nice treat was the selection of fresh fruit -- including some scrumptious pineapple -- that made for a wonderful light dessert after all that great seafood! We would definitely go back and bring our grown children. The price and variety can't be beat.

Excellent variety, great tasting food written by MikeKulick

I will definitely be going back to the Green Olive. While the name of the place leaves me a bit confused (it's a Chinese/Seafood buffet -- where's the 'green olive' largely factor in?), the quality is great and there's so much to choose from, from crab to salmon to steak and sushi. The chicken was undercooked when we went in, but I'm sure that's not a regular occurrence. Highly recommended if you're yearning for lots of excellent Asian/seafood choices. And yes, if you've got kids, they have the typical pizza/chicken fingers fare also!

High quality food,we have been here several times of the many food items only one time have we not been not satisfied with a particular item (the grilled to order steak which seemed leathery). On a subsequent visit I ordered the same item and found it to be of excellent quality.

My wife and I love this restaurant and visit it as often as we can. The wide variety of seafood dishes with both an American and Asian flavor is a perfect mix for a great meal. The stuffed crabs are great, but a bit rich ... too rich to eat too many of them. The made to order steak is as good as can be expected from a buffet.
