I was in Virginia Beach for a confrence at the convention center. A friend and I decided to grab a bite for lunch on our first day; Fresh Fare Cafe is about 1 minute walk from the convention center. It was busy but not packed like many of the restaurants on the beach. The food was wonderful. I was in town for 4 days and ate at Fresh Fare Cafe 5 times! Wonderful breakfast, lunch and I imagine dinner. There is a special every day and the homemade cookies are to die for! The people were all plesant and rounded out the wonderful meal. I tried something different every time I was there (except I stuck with the oatmeal raisin cookies). The variety is great and many things to choose from for the vegetarians and health conscious. I would recommend a visit if you're anywhere near the area.
