My husband and I have made this our #1 choice for pizza in Richmond. We dine in occasionally, but usually just pick up a pizza for a quick dinner, since they're right around the corner from our home. Everything we've ever ordered was excellent- salads, pasta, pizza. We recommend sausage on the pizza- it apparently is actual sausages that they slice thin into rounds like pepperoni. It's not too spicy, but not too bland, and doesn't have that unpleasant texture that pizza sausage balls can have. Plus the crust on the pizza is great.... light, crispy, with a buttery taste.
Definitely give either location of Franks (West End on Patterson and Bon Air near Chippenham Parkway) if you're looking for no-frills tasty Italian in a nice atmosphere at a reasonable price.
