  Worst Service Ever!

  This has to have been THE WORST restaraunt experience I've ever had! I work in the VCU Medical Center ER late at night, and there are not very many places that deliver. Since Assante's delivers until 3 I would order from them occasionally.
  
  Our ER alone spends almost a thousand dollars there a week in food, yet we almost always have something missing from our orders. On this occasion we had multiple orders put in at the same time, only to have an order of chicken wings left out. Since sometimes in group orders things can be forgotten, I simply called to get the wings sent. They assured me that they were being sent, but 30-40 minutes later no wings were delivered. I called twice more, with 10 minutes in between calls, only to be told that the guy was delivering them. I called about 10 more times, only to have the phone picked up & hung up. On the 11th or 12th time they picked up & I asked if I could have the money refunded to my debit card. The guy was very rude, and shouted "ASSANTE'S" into the phone when he picked up.
  
  The guy said that he'd let me speak to his manager. Five minutes pass, and the phone gets picked up. There was some shouting to someone in the background, and the words being said did not sound very nice at all. They then hung up. I called two more times and was hung up on twice. After that they refused to pick up.
  
  All of this occurred between 1:45 (when I placed the order), 2:20 (when I got the order), and 3:30-3:40 am when I finally stopped trying due to them not answering. I understand that it was closing time, but the way I was treated was unexcusable. This isn't the first time this has happened, and at least half of the people who work here refuse to order from there due to their lack of good service. I have made sure that all of my co-workers were made aware of this, and they have lost not only my business but at least the business of 4 other people.
  
  I would only recommend this place out of extreme desparation or if you are only ordering one thing. But then, if you were only ordering one thing, then why not order it from Chanello's (who is also open until 3 & sells the same items), Valentino's (open until 3 on weekends), or Aladdin's (open until 3 am)? They may have forgotten the occasional item, but I have always gotten either my money or the item, and on occasion both.
