I frequent Asia Bistro, whether it is to meet a group of friends for Happy Hour and appetizers, or for dining. The Manager/Owner is very welcoming, the staff is friendly and courteous. I have been there SEVERAL times in the past year and have never had a bad experience. Being in Management myself I have found that unfortunately people tend to write the negative when things don't go their way; but the good experiences we don't take the time to comment on.

We had a miscommunication with our order. The waiter wasn't able to explain what is included in the "sushi for two." We double ordered sushi, thinking we were choosing the sushi for our meal for two. Things like this happen and typically aren't a big deal. However, management refused to acknowledge their role in the miscommunication and would not make any accommodations with our bill. We didn't expect them to wrie off all the additional food, but would have appreciated having them meet us half way. They had no interest in trying to retain our business. The interaction escalated into a lengthy, heated he-said-she-said exchange. It appears that management would rather make a scene in their restaurant than manage the disagreement and show respect and appreciation for the customer. Their attitude indicates they do not your business. I suggest you follow this cue and choose to dine elsewhere.
