Even though Arby's is more expensive than most restaurants of this type, we enjoy eating there because of the delicious ice tea. Our experience this evening was quite disappointing. My husband and daughter ordered reubens and waffle fries. The fries tasted like stale cooking oil, and they were cold. The cheese on their sandwiches was cold and looked like it had just been taken out of the refigerator. My husband returned the fries and received fresh hot fries in place of the cold ones. He decided the manager should know about the fries and his cold cheese on his sandwich. He did not expect a replacement on his sandwich, but thought the manager would be interested in knowing how the food had been prepared. When he showed his sandwich to the manager and told him about the fries, the manager just looked at him and did not comment....he didn't even offer an apology. My husband was very polite in presenting the information. We were surprised by his lack of response. On the way home, I told my husband he should just buy ice tea at Arby's, and we should eat our meals somewhere else. Do you blame us for this decision? I know every cook can have a bad day, but the people in charge should respond to their paying customers!
