Great food, great atmosphere, a couple of hot Vietnamese waitresses!!!!!

The owners daughter(s) are pretty smokin. Plus some of the local V chicks that come in are hot.

Oh yeah, the #23 on the lunch menu is the best.

Watch out for this one young waiter. He has a thing for TT4L and dumped 5 drinks on him. We felt sorry for TT4L, cause RG just switched seats with him.

YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE, IT'S Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt!!!

Special Sauce! written by ThanhThanh4Life

This place is off the hook! It is so good. I recommend it for everyone. The selection of food is excellent and the spring rolls are great. Make sure you get the thicker of the fish sauce which I have heard it referred to as special sauce. I practically drink the stuff. I usually go with other Vietnamese guys so they do all the ordering but we haven't had a problem ordering by number either. I go weekly!

Thanh Thanh for Everyone! written by rgreen4

This place is awesome! I eat there at least once a week with some Vietnamese friends from work and have had several different items from the menu. They have great spring rolls, #31 rocks! We go for lunch but I hear dinner is even bigger and better. I would defintely recommend this place if you're wanting authentic Vietnamese food.

I was unsure at first. Can be scary for a white boy who has never been to a true Vietnamese restaurant. But they were gentle and treated me with respect. After tasting their spring rolls I fell in love. Now I can never go back to regular "Asian" food. I just hope my family can forgive me.

Best Vietnemese Food in the Area written by Kevin11
Last visited this restaurant on May 22, 2005

I've been to Thanh Thanh twice. Both times the food was excellent, better than half a dozen other Vietnemese restaurants I've been to in the area. The place is really large inside, and can handle big wedding receptions and other events. The setting is somewhat formal in an elegant way w/ alot of linen, and chandeliers, etc, but I had on shorts and tennis shoes and it was no problem. Both times, I was among not more than about 10 customers, so the place was really quiet. Service was very average. It was adequate, and not a reason to avoid the place, especially as good as the food is, but the service did not impress me.
One thing that did was the incredible variety on the menu. This place has food and meat items that you just will not find anywhere else. The majority of the foods are more traditional Vietnemese items such as pho', vermicelli bowls, rice plates w/ grilled pork or chicken, spring rolls, hot pots, and other items, but there's quite a few other options that I failed to memorize but surprised me at the time.
This place is set way back from the road in a shopping center that's not very visible from either 360 or Arkansas, but it's in the North West corner of 360 and Arkansas lane. It's the anchor location in the corner of a large L shaped center. It's closed one day early in the week if I remember correctly so call before you go.
I highly recommend this place with no misgivings whatsoever.
