I just want to say that this is the best seafood resturant i have eaten at in South Texas... my mother lives in Refugion and we use to go to Corpus to get good seafood, but now we only have to go half the way to Corpus. the service was great and the employees were very friendly and eager to serve and help you in your choices. Ready to go back.

We ordered the avocado salad. This is lettuce tossed in a light vinaigrette or italian dressing with large slices of tomato all around, black olives, and avocado fanned out on top along with large croutons. This is very appealing and tastes great. For the meal, we had onion rings, these are piled up on a plate and are not your usual large onion rings, but are rather all placed in a fryer and when they are golden crisp they are flipped over on a plate. We usually have to slice it like a pie, but they are very crispy and sweet. We ordered jumbo shrimp and catfish, both fried. Everything was very delicious and the food is always served promptly. The meal was brought out on plates which were layered with hobo fries (sweet potato fries and french fries)and the seafood is placed on them. The food has been consistently good every time we go. I would definitely put them up there with Two Georges and King's Inn. If you haven't been there, try it, you won't be disappointed. Make sure you have some of their tartar sauce. I have also had some of their bombay salad and its great.
